Open Triples 2015

 

The 2015 Open Triples competition at Aberfeldy Bowling Club was won by local team, Jimmy Hermiston, Peter Jack and Alex McGravie. In a closely fought final played under sunny skies, they beat a Bankfoot team of Alan Montgomery, Andrew Carcary and Ian Kean to win the Rose and Campbell Trophy. Aberfeldy skip, Jimmy Hermiston said, “We are delighted to have won this competition and would like to thank the club and the sponsors for all their arrangements. It has been a very enjoyable competition.”

Presenting the trophy and prizes to the winners, Aberfeldy President Anne Woolley commented, “We witnessed two excellent days of bowling and I would like to thank all the bowlers who took part for making it such a great competition. Our thanks also go to Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery Visitor Experience, Barhaul and the Black Watch Inn for their generous sponsorship of this competition.”
