Bowling with us
The bowling green opens in early April and closes at the end of September. During that period, the green is open 7 days a week between 10am and dusk and is available to visitors. Please check that the club does not have a match or competition arranged for the time you want to play (see below for Fixture List).
Bowls (including junior bowls), jacks and mats are available in the old Clubhouse. Flat soled shoes must be worn.
The cost per game is £4 per game per person (£2 per child), £20.00 for the week or £30.00 for the fortnight and the money should be placed in the honesty box within the old Clubhouse. The order in which the rinks (lanes) must be played is displayed outside. In poor weather, the Green Convenor may choose to close the green at short notice.
Rink Nights
The Club Rink Night takes place every Tuesday evening during the season. This is an informal competition evening where we usually play triples or rinks. Start times are usually between 6:00 - 7:00pm, see blackboard on the old clubhouse for confirmation.
